Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SYNCWAVE LTD ("Talkrly") uses cookies and similar technologies on talkrly.app and related services. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the service is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels - the term "cookies" in this policy covers all of them.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential Cookies
Required for the Service to function - for example, to authenticate your session, route requests, balance load, and maintain security. These cannot be disabled because the Service will not work without them.
2.2 Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how learners use Talkrly so we can improve features, lessons, and reliability. These collect aggregated, non-identifying data wherever possible. You can disable these via the in-app cookie settings.
2.3 Marketing Cookies
Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and, where you have consented, to show relevant ads on other platforms. You can disable these via the in-app cookie settings.
2.4 Preference Cookies
Remember your settings (language, theme, learning preferences, recently viewed content) so you don't have to reconfigure them each visit.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties acting on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy policies. Categories include:
- Payment processors - to securely process subscription payments and detect fraud.
- Analytics providers - to measure usage and performance.
- Advertising networks - for measurement and attribution where you have consented.
- Customer support tools - to deliver in-app chat and help articles.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can change your preferences at any time:
- Use the cookie banner displayed on your first visit and the in-app cookie settings panel.
- Configure your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you do this in the Privacy or Security section of preferences.
- Use browser-level privacy controls or extensions if available.
Disabling non-essential cookies will not break the Service, but some personalization may be lost. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.
5. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry consensus on how DNT signals should be honored. Talkrly therefore does not respond to DNT signals at this time. We instead provide the cookie controls described above so you can make granular choices.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve or as regulations change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Material updates will be communicated through the Service.
